Well, we actually did it! Grant and I left Grace for an entire weekend with her grandparents and we went on a 3-day cruise to the Bahamas. I have to say that leaving her was possibly the hardest thing I have ever done, but now that we are home I am so glad we did it. I cried my way to the airport and then to Orlando, but once we called home to check in and heard that Grace was doing fine it started to get much easier. This was our first cruise and we had a blast, it was just what the doctor ordered. It went something like this: have drinks, eat buffet, have drinks, see show, have drinks, eat dinner, eat buffet while having drinks, more drinks, and then room service. Seriously, our diet starts today. I am happy to say that as much as we missed her, Grace got to spend some great bonding time with her grandparents.
